The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing Continuing Education Division is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing is part of a nationally recognized campus for health science professionals offering BSN, MSN (including WHNP), PhD and DNP programs. In addition to these, UMKC School of Nursing demonstrates its commitment to lifelong learning by providing programs that will empower nurses to address the challenges they encounter daily in their practice. Continuing education experiences are designed to promote the enrichment of knowledge, improvement of skills, and development of attitutudes for the enhancement of nursing practice, thus improve the care to the public.
