Marilyn Oermann, PhD, RN, FAAN, ANEF
Dr. Oermann is a Professor and Chair of Adult and Geriatric Health in the School of Nursing, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is author/co-author of 11 nursing education books and many articles on clinical evaluation, teaching in nursing, and writing for publication as a nurse educator. She is the Editor of the Journal of Nursing Care Quality and past editor of the Annual Review of Nursing Education. Dr. Oermann lectures widely on teaching and evaluation in nursing. 

Accreditation
The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing Continuing Education Division is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
 
This program is approved for up to 3 contact hours.  Contact hours will be prorated according to documented participation.

Melissa Joy Roberts , JD, MSN, RN, FNP-C has been a faculty member in the graduate programs at UMKC since 1995. She is also a practicing family nurse practitioner and attorney.
