Biography: Amy Miller is currently serving as the academic advisor for the Rural Nurse Initiative (RNI) program. This program is targeted for nurses that wish to enter the UMKC RN-BSN program. Amy works with individuals to facilitate a plan of study to accommodate the individual’s desired pace of instruction. Amy is a graduate of Ashland University (Ohio) and holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron (Ohio). This is her ninth year in the field of higher education. She is excited to be a member of the UMKC campus and looks forward to helping all students reach their professional goals.
