Biography: Leah C. Stanley MSN, RN is a clinical instructor and joined the UMKC-SON in the fall of 2006. Leah teaches Community Health in the undergraduate program. She has practiced nursing in various areas of Community Nursing; Home Health, School Nursing, Health Occupational Nursing, and Clinic Settings. Leah’s interest in future research is in the area of education and how learning takes place. Leah also serves as a chapter leader for the Lambda Phi, Sigma Theta Tau chapter. In her spare time Leah volunteers at the Liberty Hospital Tree House, teaches CPR in the schools, gardens and loves to bake.
